69You might think of Colorado as being a boring state where there are many ranches and farms and the mountains in the background. It is nothing like that it is an extremely beautiful state where the people are nice and the weather is unpredictable. One day it can be nice and sunny and the next day a radical change in weather. There are many recreational things to do in the mountains and in the cities. Life there is beautiful and fun.
1. Hiking
You might think of hiking as a tiresome activity. I do but the hike is worth it once you reach the top of a hill or mountain the view is spectacular. On your way up you feel a harmonization with nature you smell the pine trees and you hear the birds chirping. 2. Mesa Verde
Ancient cliff dwellings near Cortez, Colorado is an awing sight see an ancient town made from the Ancient Pueblo People take a tour with a guide or see it in person by yourself it is a great sight for pictures.
3. Camping
Take a drive into to any mountain town and find camping areas all around it is a great experience to sleep in the wilderness for a night or two and spend time with your family. Have a traditional campfire at night and make some smores.
4. Skiing

5. Coors Brewery
Visit and take a tour at the Coors Brewery in Golden,Colorado. I've personally taken the tour and before you even enter the brewery you take a shuttle that shows you around the town and tells you the history of Golden. The brewery is big and the tour guides do an excellent job at describing the process of the brewing to the packaging.
6. 16th Street Mall
Take a walk down the 16th Street Mall and shop at various stores.There are massive amounts of restaurants to choose from and probably every food type.
7. Elitch Gardens
An amusement park located downtown which has both a theme park and a water park it is a 2 for 1 ticket and fun filled day for the family. And various concerts through out the season. Visit http://elitchgardens.com/ for tickets and opening of the park.
8. Red Rocks
Visit Red Rocks for the view and also to look at the amphitheater which combines the outdoors into a concert which is an amazing thing to experience. 9. Arts

10. Garden of the Gods
A park located near Colorado Springs, Colorado is an amazing park with a large amount of geological formations. You will stand in awe as you see how some of the formations where even made. Really beautiful hub! It makes me want to visit Colorado really badly. (I've never been west of Wisconsin.) My mother used to spend summers growing up in Colorado and she still talks about how beautiful it is out there. I think this has inspired me to dig deeper and consider going out west for a vaycay! Great hub, keep up the fantastic work!
